I have not owned a motorcycle but am very interested in the Suzuki GS500F. I have heard very good things and am just curious how much other people pay for insurance just to get an idea.
P.s. I am 20 years old and have not gotten any speeding tickets or anything against my record

I am 48 years old, and own a 1985 Yamaha Virago 700 ratbike. Minimum legal insurance for it is $ 75/year.

I am looking to buy my first motorcycle but before I do I need to figure out how much insurance will cost but to be honest I don’t know much about motorcycle insurance. I was hoping if someone can tell me what the best deals will be. The bike will be a Suzuki SV650 if that helps and I am 22 year old college student. I know that it will be higher if I haven’t payed the bike completely off yet and I am planning on taking a safety course so I think that will lower it, still… can anyone help me figure this out?

This is all hypothetical. If I buy either a Kawasaki Ninja 650R or a Suzuki SV650SF what can i expect to pay for insurance on each? I have held my regular driving license for a full year with no accidents or tickets and my motorcycle endorsement for slightly less time but also with no incidents, and have been using my dads motorcycle, a BMW R1200C. Im an honor roll student and dont have anything legal against me. What could i expect to pay for insurance, either monthly or yearly?

I’m 24, male. I plan on getting the Yamaha R6-I’ll be financing the bike.
I have some questions regarding to insurance of the bike.
My friend owns a 06 Suzuki GSXR750, it was his first bike, and he is a fresh bike rider also. But his full coverage is only $120/month.
While searching online (geico, Progressive, allstate), I find out that the full coverage for the bike itself is $487/month-which I found strange. Because I’m older than my friend, he’s 22.
I understand that you need full coverage(collision, comprehensive coverage) when you’re financing a bike. My friend is also financing the bike. But how come his full coverage is way cheaper than what I’ve searched for?
I also picked the $500 deductible on Comprehensive and Collision too. But the lowest I got was $487/month-if not $880/month.
When I decline the Comp and Coll, my coverage is only $84/month. Why is there a big gap for my full coverage comparing to my younger friend with a bigger cc bike? 600 vs. 750.
We used to be in the military, so they made us take a rider course to be able to operate a motorcycle.
Yes, my friend is currently paying $120/month full coverage. Another friend also has an 06 R6, 22yo, fresh rider-he only pays $115/month through Allstate.
And yes, I have an EXCELLENT credit.
Clean driving record.
I insure my own car.
My choice for bikes are Yamaha R6, or a 2008 Ducati 848
Suzuki motorcycle?
I’m thinking of getting a Gs1986 suzuki 450L. I’m trying to find the specs. for this year and model. I’ve looked on the web and I either find the wrong year or the wrong model. I can find every other Gs model but the year I’m looking for. Are they just not that popular, or hard to find info about? I hope someone can help, It has under 5000 miles and well kept. A sweet deal but I’m no biker. First timer. I’d **** to let it slip because of something I can’t find.

Thinking of opening my own motorcycle parts shop? what does everyone think? good investment?
I was lying in bed last night and was thinking to myself about opening a Motorcycle parts shop, dealing in parts for as many bikes as possible, including some of the older bikes from the 70’s if at all possible. I already have a dealership within about 15 miles of me that deals with Kawasaki and suzuki and Yamaha bikes and parts. How good of an investment do people think this is and how can i go about getting started?
