Which course should I take to receive a discount on motorcycle insurance, the Beginners Riding Course (BRC) that will waive my need of a road test (and cost $ 200 more) or the classroom course that will give me my permit, so I can take the road test whenever I want.
Is the same discount available for both classes?

take the classroom and riding course, MSF, that will get you the certificate to obtain the license.

The riding course will probably save you the $ 200 just in the first year insurance premium. Get some quotes. Any agent who sell motorcycle insurance can quote it both ways even before you get the license or take the class. Good luck.
