It depends on the insurance company that you have. Some offer bigger discounts than others for taking safety courses. If you don’t have a company or policy yet, I’d suggest calling around. If you already have insurance — your best bet is just to ask your agent.

Generally 10%, but it depends on a lot of factors. Being a rider with no experience, on a medium size bike, expect to pay a lot. If you are yourng (under 25) expect it to be a lot more.
On the other hand, the insurance is there if you need it.
