My hubby has a 2002 Honda VT1100 Shadow Spirit. I have been pricing new insurance policies. I have been asked if it is the “American” or ” Classic” edition. We do not know and there is nothing on the title other than what I have stated.
I have been researching Honda sites and all I can find specs for is the Spirit. Anyone familiar with the other two possibilities?
Kimba–good point. I can’t remember my current provider asking, but I always shop around at renewal time……just incase there is a newer and better deal!

well since it is not on the title I would get quotes for both models and see if there is a price difference and then “choose” my bike to be the less expensive one to insure! Now if you just want the knowledge of what your bike is , I would try to contact Honda itself and try a vin.# search …hope this helps =)
